Senior Business Analyst

Join An Engineering company, a rapidly growing AI SaaS startup based in Gurugram, as a Senior Business Analyst. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with industry leaders to drive impactful analytical initiatives. Your expertise will play a critical role in shaping data-driven decisions that propel the company's growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership teams across Product, Operations, Growth, and Finance to create analytical frameworks that align with business objectives.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to influence strategic decision-making and conduct forecasting and scenario modeling.
• Promote a data-first culture within teams by identifying and capitalizing on high-impact opportunities.
• Take ownership of dashboard and analytics system development using Metabase or similar BI tools.
• Develop scalable KPI frameworks and automate insights to facilitate informed decision-making for both immediate and future needs.
• Ensure data integrity by validating availability, accuracy, and reliability throughout reporting channels.
• Write and refine complex SQL queries to perform deep-dive analyses on performance metrics and operational diagnostics.
• Mentor junior analysts, guiding them in best practices while reviewing their analytical work and enhancing overall team capabilities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases and dashboard creation, with a preference for Metabase proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to turn raw data into structured insights and actionable business recommendations.
• A solid understanding of product funnels, operational metrics, and overall business workflows.
• Skilled in communicating complex analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
