Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in the development and maintenance of the entire technology stack for our digital personal loan application.
• Oversee the design and implementation of a comprehensive knowledge base to facilitate AI-driven coding practices.
• Establish efficient processes for developer onboarding and code reviews to enhance the team’s productivity.
• Create and manage workflows that encourage continuous improvement of engineering practices as the product evolves.
• Ensure high-quality standards in coding and architecture through rigorous review mechanisms for pull requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and address technical challenges promptly.
• Implement strategies for scalable microservices and distributed systems that support the growing user base.

Requirements

• You possess over 7 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or architectural role.
• You have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Django, and React Native frameworks.
• Your deep understanding of AWS and cloud-native architectures equips you to manage complex deployments.
• You are proficient in both SQL and NoSQL databases and can choose the right technology for data storage needs.
• You demonstrate a solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API design principles.
• You have previous experience managing reconciliation or payment flow infrastructures in a lending or payments domain.
• Your background in fintech, NBFC, or digital lending is essential to understanding our business context.
• You have made use of large language models (LLMs) in your engineering work and can articulate their impact on development.
