Responsibilities

• Own and manage the complete data structuring layer within the organization.
• Transform large volumes of unstructured and semi-structured data into clean and standardized datasets.
• Develop pipelines to ensure efficient processing of raw customer data for analysis.
• Facilitate the downstream use of derived variables to enhance risk analytics and fraud detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Continuously expand parser coverage to improve data handling capabilities.
• Monitor and optimize data processes to ensure high efficiency and reliability.
• Document data flows and practices to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles within the Fintech domain.
• Demonstrated expertise in SMS parsing and converting raw customer data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL at a production level for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience working with various data types including Bureau, SMS, Device, and Banking data.
• Strong skills in building data pipelines, schedulers, and cron jobs to automate data workflows.
• Advanced database design and data modeling skills to support data architecture needs.
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment, demonstrating high ownership and responsibility.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and Redshift.
