Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance production systems that handle high traffic and business-critical workloads.
• Design scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems, clearly articulating architectural boundaries and data flow.
• Write efficient production code in Python and Django, including API development and database migrations.
• Resolve production issues effectively while taking ownership of the systems you build.
• Deploy and manage cloud services on AWS, ensuring safe releases and proper configuration.
• Optimize SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure robust performance under growing data volumes.
• Build and maintain performant APIs, ensuring backward compatibility and observability.
• Utilize AI tools to improve engineering productivity through coding and testing enhancements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and production delivery.
• Proficient in Python and Django with a strong background in API and database design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including service management and deployment strategies.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and indexing.
• Demonstrated ability to debug production issues and optimize existing systems effectively.
